Sarah Weimer, PT, DPT, CDNS

I graduated from Shenandoah University with Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009. The primary focus of my work is outpatient orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehab, but I also work specifically with runners—from the Olympic trials qualifiers to the weekend warriors and everyone in between. If you lace up your shoes and run, no matter how fast or how far you go, you’re a runner, and I can help you stay healthy, strong, and reach your goals.

As a runner myself I understand the value of having a well-rounded training program to tackle any distance. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people were left scrambling to do home workouts and stay in shape while dealing with high stress and anxiety. Once it was safe to begin group workouts, gyms were either closed or were too risky for some to consider. During this time, I started to complete outdoor workouts in small groups with all safety matters taken into consideration in order to help those that who wanted to workout outdoors. The best part of the workout is that it is programmed and overseen by a practicing physical therapist. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or newer to working out, I’m there to guide you through smart, thoughtful workouts all while ensuring that your form is correct. If you have specific concerns, or current or past injuries that require modifications to exercises, I can easily help you with adjustments.

I also provide one-on-one Physical Therapy services in your home or in a gym setting. I can meet you where you are or we can work together in my space.
